Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles, is proficient in accounting software, and has excellent attention to detail.

Duties:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments

- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions

- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

-Manage company benefits

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

- Perform general ledger entries and journal entries

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax preparation

- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable

- Complete payroll processing

Requirements:

- Associates degree in Accounting or related field preferred

-Proficient in Excel spreadsheets

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
