Solar Project Manager

Venture Solar is looking for a project manager to join our team in our Linden, NJ office. This person will lead the successful execution of a variety of projects from start to finish.

We take an employee and customer-first approach with the goal of providing the best experience possible in the Solar industry! We need your help to lead the team in scheduling solar installations and town inspections in NJ.

Our mission is to help our customers take control of their energy costs by switching to cheaper, cleaner renewable power with solar energy with no upfront cost and immediate savings and we need your help to do so! 

We are currently hiring a Project Manager. We are always looking for passionate, energetic, and customer-focused team members to join our mission of providing homeowners the best experience possible on their home improvement projects.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent time-management and problem-solving abilities who thrives in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for scheduling for 4-8 crews throughout NJ as well as scheduling inspections and service calls. 
• Deliver on-time, in-budget projects - Execute projects within the intended scope, timeframe and funds.
• Communicate with clients - Drive contact with clients throughout the project lifecycle to understand/set expectations, establish timelines and grow the relationship.
• Manage resources - Work closely with internal departments to resolve order and other processing issues to identify and allocate the necessary resources for each project.
• Develop project plans - Create detailed plans for each project to outline execution strategy including objectives, schedule, and cost.
• Track and communicate progress - Measure performance for presentation to clients and internal leadership.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Solar experience required
• Experience in project management preferred
• CRM experience a plus (SalesForce)
• Experience with Sunnova and Mosaic desired
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Advanced skill set in time management and task prioritization
• Passion for managing teams and driving results
• Ability to multitask and identify opportunities for process improvement
