Job Description/Summary:
This Maintenance Technician performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas of the property. The Technician is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations while meeting the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety and overall functionality.

Qualifications: Education/Experience:
One to two years of experience in community management maintenance, other building maintenance or related trade.
Renovation experience may be required for older properties built 10 or more years ago. Must be HVAC Certified.
College or Technical school training preferred. Licenses/Equipment Required:
Special skills include ability to diagnose problems and repair the following:
Management Responsibilities: This position does not manages others.
Hours of Work: All Maintenance Technicians are required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Maintenance Technicians are also scheduled for emergency on-call hours.
Math Ability: This position requires general math ability.
Reasoning Ability: This position requires the ability to trouble shoot problems and present solutions for a variety of situations and the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Computer Skills: This position requires the ability to operate a telephone, computer/keyboard, Microsoft Office including Word and MS Outlook, community software
Language Ability: This position requires the ability to read, analyze and interpret general business communications, schematics, technical manuals and federal, state and local regulations. This position requires the ability to write general business communications.
