JOB TITLE: Product Manager

JOB SUMMARY: We are a Correspondent-Clearing broker/dealer seeking a motivated and dynamic Product Manager who will be responsible for the overall success of our services and products. You will be responsible for managing the product's lifecycle from development to product launch. The product manager will be responsible for assisting with bringing our company's vision and strategy to life. This person will need to understand and respond to customer needs and wants in addition to being able to convert those into product and/or project requirements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Listen to and understand customer feedback, and respond to product suggestions
• Use market research to get ideas for products that customers will engage in 
• Helping to oversee the design & manufacture of company services & products while planning how to market and promote the product to the public
• Work with a cross-functional team to determine the product's business model
• Collaborate in strategizing experiment design
• Participate in recruiting and interviewing product candidates to help build an excellent Product Management team
• Remain abreast of the latest industry trends and technology
• Meet with clients and other key stakeholders
• Support the sales team by providing product information and demos
• Research and suggest new product development and refinements for existing products
• Comparing the company’s products to competitor’s products in order to assess competition in the market
• Create the long-term vision and lead the product of end-to-end features within our payments product at Podium
• Contribute to product pricing strategies

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

We're a growing and nimble team, so you will be expected to be highly autonomous and drive your products from discovery through delivery

• Experience in the Financial Industry is a plus
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
• High level of comfort with technology and its development
• Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
• Excellent documentation skills along with in-depth knowledge of product strategy 
• Experience creating detailed reports and presentations to senior executives and key stakeholders
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite
• A track record of successfully making and keeping commitments

EDUCATIONS:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher is required in business or a related field such as economics, mathematics, communication, marketing or statistics is preferred.
• At least 5 years in product management or a related field
