Velocity Staff, Inc. is working with a dynamic company to add, on a permanent basis, a Software Support Analyst. This Kansas City, MO based onsite role will work directly with the Director of Infrastructure and will be executing projects within their ERP system that make operations run more efficiently. This role will also liaise between the company and our IT infrastructure providers. This position would work onsite as part of a fun, creative, dynamic and talented team. The Infrastructure team helps the organization’s heartbeat. The team is continually searching for ways to make processes more efficient, namely as it pertains to our ERP system.About the organization: The company manufactures oil separators, solids interceptors, and chemical waste tanks. Responsibilities

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain internal documentation for all systems used in operationsDevelop and maintain SharePoint sites for company and each departmentDevelop and maintain uniform, efficient use of Microsoft applications across the companyPerform and manage Internal software support help deskTroubleshoot resolution internallyServer errors & rebootsServices errors & rebootsSubmit ticket with vendor if unable to resolveAssist Director of Infrastructure with managing continual labor data collection through surfaces on manufacturing floor and connection to ERP systemAssist Director of Infrastructure with research & testing of new modules and functions in ERP system

Qualifications

QualificationsAttention to detail and highly organized3 years of relevant work experience preferred but not requiredBachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experienceProficiency in SQL Data ManagementProficient in Microsoft Administration & Office ProductsProficiency in Crystal ReportsExcellent analytical skillsForward-thinker who can bring creative ideas to the organizationSense of humor
