Our Maintenance Assistants are integral in delighting our residents and are provided a unique opportunity to learn and develop their maintenance skills including repairs, unit turnovers, and preventative maintenance while embarking on their Maintenance career with Velair.
Responsibilities
- Travel to properties in the Velair portfolio to complete work orders as assigned.
- Provide care and other related services to the building, building systems and equipment.
- Maintain property and grounds including daily cleaning, trash collection, and preventative maintenance.
- Ability to learn and adhere to Fair Housing Laws.
- Sunday-Thursday schedule
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good reasoning ability.
- Interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
- Valid driver’s license.
