Fast-paced, growing medical office is looking for an experienced scheduler/receptionist. Candidate must be independent thinking and organized and willing to coordinate schedules for many providers, overseeing calendars and creating templates.
Responsibilities will include answering phones, registering patients, and scheduling office visits and procedures, with a special focus on authorizations and deadlines.
Previous medical office experience, familiarity with health insurance packages, knowledge of Athena (electronic medical record) and HIPAA/medical policies and regulations preferred. Medical Assistant background a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
