The Role:

Opportunity for an aspiring data professional to build experience at a growing software company, in a friendly, diverse, and hardworking data team. This contract-based role involves acquiring and integrating publicly available data into our proprietary data sets. This role does not involve software development/coding.

What You'll Do

• Work with product managers to understand the Web-scrape requirements
• Configure Web-scrapes using a cloud-based SaaS tool
• Configure ETL pipelines to load data into our MDM platform
• Work with product managers to make sure that the required quality is met

• Prior experience with Web-scraping
• Basic understanding of: Regular expressions, Git, and Google Chrome Developer Tools
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and follow written instructions, seek clarification where needed, and assess the output of a Web scrape against the written requirements
• Ability to document work

• Prior experience with/understanding of:
• Web scraping platforms, such as Mozenda
• XPath selectors
• Document Object Model (DOM)
