Overview:

Veeam Software is the leader in data backup, recovery, and ransomware protection with over 400,000 customers worldwide. Our Corporate Technology team is responsible for the development of software solutions for all internal Veeam business departments as well as external customers and partners. We provide software applications, services, and data to automate businesses processes and maximize efficiency throughout the enterprise.

Senior Systems Analyst is a key role in the Integrations team under the Corporate Technology umbrella. In this role, you will evaluate existing systems and business processes, provide recommendations for improvements. You will work closely with business partners, program managers, development and QA team members. You are expected to gather, analyze, and understand business needs, perform research and analysis on the requests to prepare functional requirements and technical solution. You are expected to support development team with the implementation of the solution and QA team during testing. You will regularly meet with stakeholders for prioritization and planning. You are expected to communicate regular updates with management and stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate current systems and processes and recommend process improvements
• Collaborate with business partners, program managers and cross-functional teams • Analyze business requirements, create detailed functional requirements, technical solution documentation
• Collaborate with development team on technical implementation, provide necessary guidance to QA team during testing phase • Conduct regular status update meetings with stakeholders
• Manage documentation in Confluence and own user task creation, updates in Jira
• Take ownership of backlog building and grooming process
• Establish relationship with business partners, working with them to deliver better value to the business

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, Swagger, YAML, Postman
• Experience with SQL queries and analyzing the data sets
• Knowledge of HTTP Protocol
• Knowledge of UML and experience with algorithms, component diagrams, sequence diagrams
• Experience with Agile software development methodology using JIRA
• Experience with Confluence
• Knowledge of integration patterns, components and basic understanding of micro-service architecture is optional but desired
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent documentation skills
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Knowledge of common end-to-end business processes

Qualifications:

• Degree in computer science, information systems, or relevant field
• 4 years of experience as a System Analyst or in similar position
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Aptitude to learn new business and systems
