VCU Health is Hiring a Patient transporter Near South Hill, VA
Sundays : 11a - 7p
The Patient Transport Tech I transports patients with an automated external defibrillator (AED) to and from nursing units in support of direct patient care.
Responds to and assists with medical emergencies and Telemetry messages from cardiac monitoring devices in order to notify clinicians or technologists appropriately.
Transports cardiac patients and reacts to radiology / non-radiology treatment / procedural areas, and cardiac units. Delivers specimens, medications and medical equipment throughout the organization.
Provides assistance by managing patient flow to the Emergency Department and Bed Management to prevent and relieve diversions and high census.
Assists with emergency medical responses.
Weekend Day (United States of America)
