Join our Float Staffing team in Kalamazoo, MI, as a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Step Down care. We are seeking dedicated professionals to work day shifts, providing 36 hours of guaranteed work per week. With a pay range of $40/hr. (Below 50 miles) to $50/hr. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and support to patients in the Step Down unit as part of the Float Staffing team.
• Assess patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding post-surgical care.
• Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately and timely.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Michigan.
• Previous experience in Step Down care or similar setting preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to different work environments and work effectively as part of a team.

Pay Structure:

• $40/hr. (Below 50 miles) to $50/hr. (Above 50 miles) on W2, based on location.
