Title: Registered Nurse- Rehab
Shift: 06:30 AM - 07:00 PM
Location: Albuquerque, NM, 87109
Contract: 13 weeks
Pay: Negotiable
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in a rehabilitation setting.
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions and progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility exercises.
- Educate patients and their families on post-rehabilitation care and strategies for maintaining health and wellness.
- Document patient information, including medical history, assessments, and interventions, accurately and timely.
Skills:
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, such as EPIC, to document patient information.
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures related to patient care and safety.
- Strong understanding of medical documentation requirements and ability to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
- Familiarity with occupational health practices, including conducting physical examinations and providing recommendations for workplace accommodations.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
