• Preserve disciplinary integrity of drivers by taking strict actions on drivers who are identified to have conducted offenses that violate our service SOP
• Understand the “Rules of the Road” and conduct safety meetings daily
• Enforce minimum threshold quality by overseeing driver ratings and performance in order to take action on underperformers.
• Develop best practice to instil discipline in drivers through continuous upgrading of our SOP, guide team on how to increase productivity, and ensure each team member’s performance is within expected KPIs
• Complete vehicle pre-trip inspection report
• Deliver vehicles to customers.
• Coordinates the loading and dispatching of all routes.
• Coaches and trains new and existing members

Qualification for Lead Driver

While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent:

• Valid Chauffeur’s License
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past five years
• Must have good written and oral communication and be able to speak English
• Five plus years local delivery driving experience preferred
• Must be an experienced driver with at least 2-3 years of Customer Service, or Supply Service
• High school diploma of GED
• Basic computer training helpful but not necessary

Physical Demands

• This position requires the following physical demands:
• Lifting to 25 lbs.1-3 hrs. Throughout the day
• Standing 6-8 hours/day
• Walking, 6-8 hrs./day
• Reach above shoulder level 1-3 hrs./day.
• Bend, Stoop, Squat, and or twist-Repeatedly throughout day.

Environmental

• May be exposed to excessive noise depending on job location and operations in progress.
• Will be working around moving machinery and equipment daily.
• May be exposed to marked changes in temperature and /or humidity.
• May be exposed to dust, fumes, gases, radiation, chemical depending on the work location,
• Potentially walks on uneven ground.
• May be required to drive motorized equipment such as golf carts depending on the work location
