Position Summary
The position is responsible for learning all aspects of Logistics Management account specific. This position will be required to support or fill an open position once trained.
This position will report to the VP of Inbound logistics.
Position Responsibilities:
1. As the logistics business grows, provide analysis of head count needs as required. Accountable for the logistics administration costs.
2. Provide Coaching and Direction to the OTR logistics organization to ensure the highest quality of service is deliverable to our Customers. (Staff all understand the required scope of work as defined by our customers and process that are accountable within the GMs accountabilities)
3. Take the lead role in representing VASCOR for the daily operations in interfacing with VASCOR customers. i.e. (Manufacturing plants and TEMA)
4. Develop and interface regularly with our Customers providing communication of what we are doing to support the scope of work. Review how well we are doing and discuss areas where support is needed from them to ensure the scope of work can be met.
5. Meet and exceed our customers defined scope of work as defined by our Customers. Work closely with field managers to ensure a positive trend of performance evaluations is being met If trends are defined as negative, support proactive countermeasures to turn problem areas around
6. Maintain a culture of customer focus and intimacy by providing the best quality of service, and the highest level of responsiveness
7. Develop and maintain the implementation of our customers expectations such that our reputation with our customers is the Best at what we do.
8. Champion the QMS culture within the Logistics organization.
9. On-Time delivery results that have zero impact to our customers production lines
