Job Overview:

As the General Manager of Varsity Campus, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and growth of our off-campus student housing properties. This role requires a strong leader with exceptional organizational skills, a passion for customer service, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to achieve occupancy targets, improve resident satisfaction, and increase profitability.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the properties, maintaining high levels of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards.

• Manage a team of property staff, including leasing consultants, maintenance personnel, and administrative support staff. Implement best practices in recruitment, training, coaching, and performance evaluation.

• Act as the main point of contact for current and potential residents, providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns in a timely and professional manner.

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with local universities and colleges, partnering with them to attract and retain student residents.

• Create and manage property budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals, expense control, and revenue growth.

• Conduct regular property inspections, identify areas of improvement, and initiate necessary renovations or upgrades.

• Stay up-to-date with local laws, regulations, and market trends related to student housing, ensuring compliance at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or a related field (preferred).

• Proven experience in property management, preferably in student housing or a similar industry.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in property management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant technology platforms.

• Knowledge of local laws, regulations, and best practices related to property management.

• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
