Job Summary :

Varney Buick GMC Mazda is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Service Technician - ASE Certified.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of automotive repair and maintenance services on customer vehicles.

This is a full-time position located in Bangor, Maine.

Responsibilities :

• Diagnose and repair customer vehicles in a timely and efficient manner, following manufacturer and dealership guidelines
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Accurately document all services performed and recommended repairs in the dealership's computer system
• Communicate effectively with customers and service advisors regarding the status of their vehicle and any recommended repairs
• Keep abreast of new automotive technology and attend training sessions as required by ASE

Requirements :

• ASE certification required; additional certifications a plus
• General Motors experience preferred
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as an automotive technician
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostic and repair equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication and customer service skills
