Job Title: Brand Ambassador

Job Summary:
As a Brand Ambassador for the Show Up Strong '24 campaign, you will be the face of the initiative, engaging directly with the public to encourage voter registration and participation. You will operate from the campaign's customized vehicle, traveling to various locations around Philadelphia to distribute information, answer queries, and manage giveaways.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with the public in a friendly and informative manner.
• Explain the importance of voter registration and assist individuals in checking their voter status on the Voter Platform..
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the campaign setup at various locations.
• Capture and share engaging content from the events for social media platforms, following guidelines and obtaining necessary approvals.
• Report feedback and public engagement levels to the campaign management team.
• Participate in mandatory training sessions, including Ballot Ready and Legal training, to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the campaign's values and objectives.

Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for community engagement and civic participation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various hours and travel around Philadelphia.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
• Experience in promotional events, marketing, or customer service is preferred.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and manage setup and breakdown of event materials.

Compensation and Schedule:

• Hourly Wage: $25 per hour.
• Weekly Hours: 5-20hours per week, depending on the event schedule.
• Training: All Brand Ambassadors must complete a paid training program to ensure readiness for the campaign events.
