Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals with autism and other special needs. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals lead fulfilling lives by providing direct support, caregiving, and ensuring their overall well-being.

Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Provide companionship and engage in recreational activities
- Support individuals in developing independent living skills
- Monitor and document vital signs as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and respect resident rights

Experience:
- Experience working with people acute care. Hoyer lift.
- Knowledge of caregiving techniques and practices
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures
- Experience in childcare or direct support roles is a plus

Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and assist individuals as needed
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate and patient demeanor

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
