SUMMARY

The Receiving Associate collaborates directly with the team coordinator and department supervisor to ensure customer product is shipped on time, as specified with all required documentation.

This position is key to company quality standards. .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• De-trash boxes of receiving materials.
• Verify packaging and paperwork regarding the count, AVL / AML, part number, shelf life, traceability, and other requirements of received materials.
• Receive materials in system and track inventory by performing computer transactions.
• Print required labels and paperwork for materials.
• Create Receiving Discrepancy Reports to notify the purchasing department of incongruent materials received.
• Work with purchasing, engineering, or quality departments to receive materials once discrepancies are resolved
• Contribute to a positive team working environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized area.
• Drive continuous improvement by looking for opportunities for improvement and working projects, small and large, to successful completion resulting in improved performance and profits.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Treat everyone at Vanguard, its vendors and customers with dignity, respect and professionalism at all times.

OTHER DUTIES

• Cross-train and assist in other areas as needed, including the stockroom, cycle counting, and shipping support
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and / or Experience

High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent

• Receiving experience
• MRP knowledge and / or experience
• PCBA manufacturing experience
