Branch Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Professional in Indianapolis, IN and surrounding areas.
Position Description:
Responsible for the day-to-day sales activities of their branch and overall origination process within defined targeted goals. The primary responsibility of this position is to effectively recruit, coach, manage and motivate a high-performance sales team.
Branch Manager Responsibilities:
· Recruit Mortgage Loan Officers to originate loans
· Train all Mortgage Loan Officers on VanDyk origination policies and procedures
· Effectively motivate all sales personnel to produce at minimum regionally based volume metrics
o Minimum of four units per Loan Originator funded monthly
o Branch Manager will become accountable for producing an average of three to four loans per month
· Represent VanDyk in the market in a positive manner and network to create additional loan opportunities for all employees
· Personally originate production
· Work closely with the Area Manager to ensure that all loans are processed timely and effectively
· Support the corporate office in the follow-up of any training documents as needed
· Create a culture of sales activities daily, including weekly sales calls with existing Mortgage Advisors to promote individual growth and loan production
· Work closely with the Area Manager and Sr. VP of Sales to be innovative in terms of new origination opportunities
· Control all expenditures to be in line with Company standards
· Manage Credit and Appraisal Risk within the defined VanDyk policy
· Perform tasks daily and monthly, and additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Area Manager

· Deals well with customer objections
· Effective time management skills
Requirements
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mortgage lending
· Software competence including loan origination software, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and Outlook
· Active Driver’s License as travel is required
· Active Loan Originator License required
