Part-Time Sourcing Specialist

Our education-focused client seeks a dependable Part-Time Sourcing Specialist to support their department with managing SOW projects on a contract basis! The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, has a keen eye for detail, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

This is a remote role requiring Eastern Time Zone hours.

Responsibilities of the Part-Time Sourcing Specialist

• Support SOW processes; prepare and review forms, assist suppliers with completion of forms.
• Assist with facilitating SOW bidding and awarding processes.
• Track and monitor project progress amongst suppliers; communicate updates and setbacks to project leaders.
• Request change order and rate negotiation approvals; monitor requests through completion.
• Ad-hoc supplier support and SOW-related project management.

Part-Time Sourcing Specialist Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2 years of relevant project management experience; prior exposure to educational publishing or similar preferred.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a customer-service orientation.
• Tech-savvy and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Proactive with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible and adaptable; able to effectively multi-task / shift priorities as needed.

Salary : $18-$20 / hr. (DOE)
