Vander Haag’s has a great opportunity for an Diesel Service Technician to join our growing team in London, Ohio! This position will have a unique opportunity to work in our brand new service facility located just outside of London, Ohio, just off US Highway 42. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously and help set up the Service Department for future growth & success. There is a potential for career advancement into future management-level positions within the Service Department as well.

At Vander Haag’s, no two days are exactly the same. You get the opportunity to work on a wide range of different heavy-duty truck makes and models! General duties include:

• All types of medium and heavy-duty truck repair
• Engine diagnostics and overhauls
• Drivetrain
• Electrical
• DOT inspections
• PM maintenance
• Hydraulic systems

Qualifications:

• ASE Certification is preferred, but not required.
• At least 5 years of prior experience in the diesel repair industry is required.

Hours: Day shift hours, Monday through Friday. No evenings, weekends, or holidays required!

Compensation: This position pays an hourly base compensation overtime. Hourly rate will range from $30.000/hour up to $38.00/hour. Hourly rate is dependent upon experience and qualifications (e.g., ASE Certifications, etc.).

Tools: Vander Haag’s offers flexible arrangements to assist you with the purchase of additional tools (if necessary). We also sell Milwaukee power tools right at our store locations!
