Are you ready to make a real difference in your community? Council for the Homeless (CFTH) is seeking an experience, dynamic, and passionate Program Manager - Specialist Projects. CFTH operates the Housing Solutions Center (HSC), our community's one-stop access point for over 40 housing assistance programs, including emergency shelter, homelessness prevention, and programs designed for specific populations such as families or unaccompanied youth. The Program Manager - Special Projects is responsible for overseeing a range of large or complex projects that directly impact participant and project-based work. This position will be responsible for creating new programs and developing strong structure for programmatic success including policies and procedures and programmatic guidelines. This position will prioritize equitable, trauma- informed, and best practices service delivery, grant compliance, and creation and sustaining partnerships across Clark County.
Your skills and experience will support our mission as you:
  • Hire, orient, train, and supervise front line staff and supervisors.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere with superior customer service and a focus on being trauma informed, client centered and advancing equity.
  • Juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to motivate, influence and gain commitment and achieve credibility.
  • Create, implement, and maintain policies and procedures.
  • Solicit and incorporate feedback from clients and partners into service delivery.
  • Successfully manage the grant, funding and crucial partnerships to enhance service delivery.
  • Work with staff, across programs, and with partners to identify ways to implement systemic improvements.
  • Work with senior leadership team to convene stakeholders, lead discussions, and implement solutions to eradicating homelessness.
Pay and Benefits
  • The starting pay for this position is $32.62 per hour. The full salary range for this position is $32.62 - $42.40 per hour.
  • Full-time, non-exempt position working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. May be required to work a few hours on weekends and holidays when needed.
  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance for the employee only.
  • Benefits package also includes 9.53% paid into WA PERS by employer, 12 company paid holidays, and generous paid time off and separate sick time accrual.

Requirements

  • Degree in Social Work, Human Services, other social services degrees or an equivalent of 4 years of experience required.
  • Knowledge of Clark County resources and agencies available to the homeless population preferred.
  • Knowledge of coordinated entry and assessment best practices and requirements preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and access to automobile required.
  • Previous experience in program design and implementation preferred.
