As Drainage Project Manager for Value Engineering, you will work with a group of talented like-minded individuals in designing innovative civil engineering solutions that exceed customer expectations. We are looking for an experienced engineer with established project management skills to join our team as we connect people and communities by providing innovative transportation solutions to the greater Lansing and Detroit areas.

Specifically, you will:

Manage Projects

• Interact with clients and team members
• Negotiate and manage contracts, budgets, schedules and resources
• Assist with proposals
• Complete quality assurance reviews
• Conduct inspections
• Identify risks and develop strategies to manage them effectively and efficiently

Manage a Team

• Lead and mentor engineers on drainage discipline work
• Guide technical staff
• Provide technical direction and guidance to staff as well as hands-on design
• Collaborate with Leadership Team
• Attend project meetings
• Attend various municipal governing body meetings

Manage Client Relationships

• Develop and manage client relationships
• Develop and manage client expectations to deliver projects
• Problem solve changes that may arise on the project delivery with the client

Required:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering
• P.E. License
• Proficient with various design softwares
• 5 years of relevant industry experience
• Must be able to obtain authorization to work in the United States

Preferred: Project Management Certification

Details: This is a full-time, salaried/exempt position; general office hours are 8 am – 5 pm weekdays with occasional evening and weekend work as needed
