Job Summary

Responsible for managing the site Maintenance Department. This must be accomplished through the adherence to site ESH policies, procedures, and protocols for self and staff. Supervise maintenance employees and contractors.

Essential Responsibilities

• Ensure self and team compliance of all site EHS policies, procedures, and protocols.

• Manage maintenance employees and site contractors

• Lead efforts in improvements of existing and future equipment installations and process development and improvements

• Assure reliability of equipment

• Manage site procurement and spare parts inventory

• Responsible for the management and development of site maintenance personnel through training, communication, performance feedback, skills enhancement, and coaching

• Manage site reliability and inspection programs

• Complete special projects as assigned

• Conformance with the Valtris Quality and Environmental, Health, Safety and Security policies and awareness of ISO 9001 and RC14001 management system requirements applicable to this position

• Support implementation and maintenance of the Valtris ISO 9001 and RC14001 management systems

Required Qualifications

1. 4-year Bachelors Degree technical field; Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering degree preferred

2. 5-8 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a chemical environment.

3. 5 years of supervisory experience

4. Good communications skills, ability to interact with customers, strong technical aptitude, and ability to multi-task

5. Working knowledge of chemical processing equipment and regulatory inspection requirements preferred

6. Computer literate – Word, Excel, PowerPoint

7. SAP experience preferred
