Job Title: Facility Services Project Manager

Job Purpose

VaLogic Bio, LLC is in search of an experienced facility services project manager. The Facilities Service Project Manager is responsible for leading and performing maintenance activities within a highly regulated environment to maintain the functionality, safety, and compliance of a GXP facilities and critical utilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

Below are the primary job duties and responsibilities. This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of the facilities and utilities maintenance, including HVAC Systems, Compressed Air & Compressed Gas Systems RODI Purified and Water for Injection Systems , Clean Steam, Boilers, Chilled Water and Humidification Systems , ,Refrigerators, Freezers, Incubators, etc. as well as, pest control ,janitorial program requirements.
• Prepare and perform training Operation and Maintenance SOPs for utility systems and equipment in accordance with GMP requirements.
• Supervises routine and complex work related to the troubleshooting, repair, and upgrade of facility equipment.
• Responsible for the preventive maintenance (PM), repair and continuous improvement of facility equipment
• Technically supports/guides mechanics in troubleshooting of equipment and assigned tasks; Organizes the daily schedule and assigns personnel to the various workspaces to meet the demand of planning.
• Executes capital and continuous improvements projects (as required) utilizing internal and external resources.
• Performs root cause analysis on equipment failures to support investigations; Reports and investigates any deviations from processes or procedures.
• Possesses total comprehension and working knowledge of the facilities/utilities equipment, systems, and processes in designated areas.
• Maintains compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Works extra hours or weekends as required by management to meet the demands of the schedule.
• Must have a valid drivers’ license
• Other duties as designated by management

Qualifications and Skills

• 
  Education and Experience
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years in management role or;
  • Trade school certification and 5-7 years of hands-on experience in working in a cGMP regulated environment or a pharmaceutical or biotechnology facilities
• Skills and Abilities
  • Extensive hands-on experience performing and overseeing Facilities and utilities equipment maintenance.
  • Current working knowledge of cGMPs in the biopharma industry
  • Working knowledge of various Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programming and Building Management System (BMS) applications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required, in addressing clients needs
  • Analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects
• Skills needed certification preferred
  • Maintenance supervisory experience
  • HVAC knowledge
