Valleyview Assisted Living is a unique 42-apartment-like facility that provides housing and nursing care for residents. We are searching for a part-time housekeeper (30 hours/week) that is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. This role requires oversight of all cleaning duties in the facility that include residents’ rooms, common areas, hallways, and assisting in safe working conditions for the staff. This role also requires a team player, maintain a positive attitude and be compassionate toward the residents of Valleyview with tact, ethical awareness, and ensure resident information is kept confidential.

Responsibilities include vacuuming, dusting, deep cleaning of bathrooms, washing, and sanitizing of thefacility. Also requires working with other department heads to ensure safety and offer suggestions and ideas for improvement. Knowledge of Right to Know, SDS book for chemicals, and ability to observe Universal Precautions and Infection Control procedures recommended but willing to train. Report repairs and/or safety concerns appropriately and timely also required.

Preferred Qualification:

-Prior cleaning experience preferred, specifically in a larger building setting.

-Must be punctual, able to prioritize and organize work efficiently to accomplish workload, be adaptable land flexible to changing situations, and follow safety rules and regulations.

-High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
