Valley View Rehabilitation & Healthcare is Hiring a NURSING STAFF SCHEDULER Near Newton, NJ
Looking for dependable, professional, full-time scheduler for Nursing Staff who is familiar with medical records. Front desk tasks and ordering clinical supplies will be a smaller part of the job.
Days Required: Monday – Friday
Job Summary:
Schedule Nursing Staff of about 20 people. Represent the facility in a pleasant, courteous, professional manner when greeting and interacting with residents, families and staff and when answering the phone. Assist Nurses and Office Managers with needed tasks. Ensure residents have a pleasant experience while in our care.
Qualifications:
- Experience scheduling medical staff
- Good people/communication skills
- Able to multitask
- Computer skills (Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Education-High School Diploma or GED
- Experience-Preferred but not required
Essential Job Functions
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Scheduling staff & resident transportation
- Phones and monitoring front door
- Maintain staffing calendars
- Scanning/Copying as needed
- Daily Nursing Census
- Clinical Supply orders
Job Type: Full-time
Experience:
Nursing Staff Schedule (at least 1 year)
customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
Working days: Monday - Friday
Hours per week: 37.5
Typical start time: 9 AM
