Valley View Rehabilitation & Healthcare is Hiring a Recreation Aide - Part Time Near Newton, NJ
Valley View Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a Part Time Recreation Aide for our 28 bed facility in Newton, NJ. Applicants must be able to work every other weekend from 11:00 - 4:00 and two days a week from 10:00 – 5:00. Approximately 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
* Conduct group recreation programs according to a monthly schedule.
* Provide 1:1 programs for residents as needed.
* Prepare supplies for residents who work independently.
* Provide daily attendance and documentation regarding resident’s participation in daily programs.
* Assist the Director of Recreation in any phase of the general program as needed.
* Work weekends, evenings and holidays as scheduled.
REQUIREMENTS
- Positive attitude and energy is a must!
- Experience in activities is a plus.
- Previous experience with geriatric population preferred.
