Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Social Services to join our team. As the Director of Social Services, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our social services programs. This includes program development, supervision, program management, and relationship management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, administrative skills, and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Duties:
- Develop and implement social services programs to meet the needs of our clients
- Supervise and provide guidance to social services staff
- Manage program budgets and ensure financial resources are allocated appropriately
- Collaborate with other departments and community organizations to enhance services and resources for our clients
- Oversee the coordination of client assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor program outcomes and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality services are provided
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
- Provide leadership and support to staff in delivering high-quality care and support to clients
- Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Proven experience in program development, management, and supervision
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively manage budgets and resources
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, families, and community partners
