As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions, maintaining vendor relationships, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our financial operations. Your work will make a meaningful impact by supporting our mission to provide high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibility of an Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Enters invoices after recording them from assigned facilities using a paperless system (PaperSave)
• Assigns expense general ledger accounts for proper distribution in financial situations
• Process Checks in a timely manner
• Prepares month end close paychecks for vendors
• Assists in preparation of Month End and Year End Reports
• Review and Approve PO Invoices in Procurement Partners
• Facility Check & Expense reimbursement
• Process and upload echecks

Qualifications of an Accounts Payable Specialist:

• 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payables
• Excel Experience required
• Time Management
• Great Plains (Preferred)
• Knowledge of applicable computer systems and programs
• Excellent attention to detail
• Work well in a team environment
• Able to work well with a diverse group of people
