Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for accurately processing payroll and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. This is a critical role within our organization, as you will play a key part in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time. Duties: - Process payroll for employees using the company's payroll system - Verify accuracy of timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies - Calculate and process employee wages, deductions, and adjustments - Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations - Maintain accurate employee records, including tax withholding forms and direct deposit information - Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters - Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and financial reporting - Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation Qualifications: - Previous experience working in payroll administration or a related field - Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and financial concepts - Proficient in using payroll software (e.g., UltiPro, Kronos) and MS Office Suite - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and troubleshooting payroll issues - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Skills: - Solid understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits - Proficient in 10-key typing for accurate data entry - Strong technical accounting skills for reconciling payroll accounts - Familiarity with corporate accounting practices We offer competitive compensation packages including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, etc. The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience.
