RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SPORTS PROGRAM ASSISTANT:

• Visits and/or works at sports sites as needed.
• Officiates and instructs as needed.
• Develops positive relationships with children and parents enrolled in programs.
• Encourages member involvement and identifies potential volunteers.
• Monitors care and maintenance of all program facilities and equipment with particular concern for the health and safety of participants and ensures repairs are made as needed.

REQUIREMENTS TO BE A SPORTS PROGRAM ASSISTANT:

• Minimum age 16 (depends on age of participants)
• Current state approved First Aid, CPR/AED Certificate
• Minimum of 6 months experience in refereeing
• A positive energetic attitude with the ability to motivate others
