The O-AT-KA Milk Products LLC plant is in Batavia, NY. The products produced at this facility include butter, powdered milk, evaporated milk, cream, and specialty beverages.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Experience & Education Required:
Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline; preferably Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.

Confidentiality
The Engineering Intern is exposed to and entrusted with confidential information relative to production methods, customers, and company strategy. A high degree of confidentiality is required in this role.
Management Responsibility
The Engineering Intern is an individual contributor role and operates under the general direction of the Engineering Lead.
Work Environment
Performs duties in both an office and manufacturing environment with majority of time in the Plant offices. Must be able to see, sit, stand, bend, and reach. Ability to operate general office equipment (computer, phone, calculator, copier, etc.) and lift up to 35 lbs. required. Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and wear appropriate PPE when in the Manufacturing plant and exposed to loud noise, hot/cold temperatures, and wet floors.
Pay: $23.00/hr.
