Job Summary:

Are you ready to join a passionate and dynamic multidisciplinary treatment team at Valley Cities? Our team-based care model revolves around holistic, person- and family-centered approaches, addressing all aspects of recovery. By incorporating evidence-based practices such as DBT, EMDR, CBT for Psychosis, and WRAP, we assist clients on their journeys toward recovery. Our diverse treatment teams, comprising therapists, case managers, peer support specialists, employment specialists, addiction specialists, and psychiatry providers, collaboratively provide high-quality, team-based care!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide treatment services to include treatment planning, individual counseling, group counseling, and case management.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of community resources. Assist clients and caregivers in identifying and utilizing a range of resources to meet their needs.
  • Demonstrate an ability to utilize evidence-based practices and best practices relevant to target populations, including DBT, TF-CBT, Play Therapy, and MI.
  • Make use of outcome measures to assess client needs, track client progress, and make clinical decisions. Record outcome measures in clinical record as required by contract and agency policy.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social work
  • Washington State licensed as a LICSW/A required.

Experience:

  • Experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and families.
  • Experience working with populations exposed to trauma, chronic poverty, chronic health conditions, homelessness, and marginalization, and individuals with co-occurring disorders.

Associate licensed pay range: $24.34 - $32.33

Fully licensed pay range: $27.44 - $37.02

Schedule:

For a Clinician School Based at Valley Cities Behavioral Health, you will utilize evidence-based best practices to provide mental health treatment services to children and adolescents, primarily in a school-based setting, but will also take place in Valley Cities clinics, client homes, and community locations. Discussion of schedules is encouraged during the interview process from both candidate and hiring manager.
