Responsibilities
General activities of the Team Lead will be leading staff by training, encouraging, validating, and making recommendations as needed. And keeping positive about the work and Validations Inc.
Planning and implementing therapeutic activities for the participants.
Is responsible for providing residential habilitation services in a safe environment.
Have working knowledge of Validations Inc. operations.
Leadership skills.
Strong Attention to details.
Interpersonal skills and the ability to resolve conflict.
Perform personal care when needed.
Promote exercises and ambulation.
Household duties, assisting if needed.
Assistance with medication administration, certification required through CEI in Idaho Falls, ID. Validations Inc. is available to help with registration and cost information.
Teach Staff how to record Daily Living Skills, DLS.
Teach Staff how to record Individual Service Plan, ISP.
Teach Staff how to record Incidents and Interventions.
Recording changes in participant conditions, report to QIDP.
Communicate with QIDP (Program coordinator) of any changes in participant’s health or behavior.
Track appropriate records.
Maintain all applicable legal- and regulatory- required qualifications and/or certifications.
Complete and maintain current CPR certification and First Aid training
Maintain current and valid automobile liability insurance covering each and every vehicle used by the employee in connection with, or relating to, the performance of the duties listed herein, and those otherwise assigned.
Maintaining a safe environment.
Maintaining current and accurate clinical records, including tracking of care on shift.
Maintaining independency for participants while providing household duties in the participant's home.
Creation of Meal plans for participants
Establishing a daily schedule of household duties and activities of daily living.
Model appropriate socialization skills to the participant.
Assist participants to and from activities in the community and will assist with supervising participants during the community activity. Keeping within eyesight.
Teach and model all goals written in the PIP and Participants Individual Support Plan.
