MultiVersity Housing Partners is looking for a Leasing Consultant to join its growing team at a student housing community in Clemson, SC at The Ridge Clemson.

Are you looking to join a dynamic team that is going to change the way that Property Acquisition and Management is performed in the Apartment and Student Housing industry?

Major responsibilities consist of : 1)

Leasinga.

Greet potential residentsb.

Answer calls and persuade potential residents to visit the propertyc.

Show and lease apartments by building value into what the Company offersd.

Successfully close on showingse.

Communicate specials and promotionsf.

Address and resolve questions / concerns in a timely mannerg.

Pursue leadsh.

Achieve goalsi.

Process leasesi.

Qualify applicants1.

Process criminal background checks on prospective residents2.

Process credit checks on guarantorsii.

Properly execute the leaseiii.

Prepare lease packages and lease renewal packages2)

Marketinga.

Research new marketing avenuesb.

Recommend marketing concepts to the Property Managerc.

May implement approved marketing techniques / programsd.

May create price sheetse.

Plan and organize resident events and partiesg.

Answer incoming callsh.

Discover resident needs, wants, and fit with an appropriate unit / roommatei.

Timely follow-up and follow through on resident needsi.

Input service requestsii.

Follow-up on trash, fires, housekeeping, roommate issues, pet registration, etc.j.

Build rapport with residentsk.

Create hospitality and a sense of belonging in a professional atmospherel.

Complete guest cards and send thank-you notesa.

File informationb.

Prepare correspondencec.

Copy informationd.

Generate mailings4)

Accurate Reportinga.

Enter bills into a spreadsheetb.

Bill back residents for overagesc.

Collect checks and monies owedd.

Read ledgers and adjust rent as needed5)

Physical Planta.

Inspect groundsb.

Assist with annual move out / move-in in Augustc.

Assist with the inspection of units, as needed6)

Projectsa.

May complete projects as directed by the Leasing Manager or Property ManagerMINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS-EDUCATIONMinimum : High school diploma or equivalentPreferred : Participation in Fair Housing classes and practice of acquired information-EXPERIENCEMinimum : One (1) year of customer service, sales, or community experience.

Preferred : Residential Assistant experience; experience working with college students; Property Management leasing experience;

and proven sales or restaurant experience. Related coursework is also preferred.Industry Experience Required : Industry Experience Preferred : Property Management leasing experience-SKILLS AND ABILITIESMinimum : o

Basic MS Word and MS Excel skillso

Ability to learn in-house systems (i.e. OneSite, etc.)o

Convincing and persuasive sales skillso

Goal-oriented and highly motivatedo

Ability to build and maintain relationships with otherso

Exemplary telephone skillso

Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in the English languageo
