The Quality Control Manager is responsible for the Quality Control and Assurance program for the F-16. The QCM will work with the Program Manager and other staff members to promote QC/QA standards. Responsibilities: • Implement Quality Control Plan (QCP) ensuring that the QCP is reviewed updated and approved by Government representatives annually or as required. • Develop method(s) of inspection, and actions to be taken to correct deficiencies discovered during the inspection process. • Develop internal controls to achieve program requirements including courseware development, logistics, academics, OJT, and studentservices. • Based on the internal controls develop quality inspection documentation such as metrics, reports, etc. • Ensure all service deliverables meet quality standards and performance requirements • Monitor key aspects of program and contract management including subcontractor management, recruiting and staffing, security management, and • Perform periodic, routine, and scheduled inspections of all aspects of contract performance • Coordinate with program office staff on identified concerns or issues • Recommend process performance improvements • Responsible for the timely and accurate reporting on quality of contract Position dependent on Contract Award • Bachelor's degree OR 20 years career in Military (retired at E6 or higher level) • Any Quality Assurance Training Certification OR DAWIA QA Level II certification • Quality Control Training certification • 5 years Quality Control management experience within the last 10 years • Complete understanding and competency with project management software tools and program portals • Strong communication skills and experience with deployment and maintenance of a Quality Management System • Must possess superior computer and systems skills • Must be a U.S. Citizen • Must be able to acquire a US SECRET Clearance • Competency with project management software tolls and program portals. Knowledge and understanding of the most recent version of regulations and guidance • Must be able to work in a sitting position for 8 or more hours per day. • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds as needed. • Must be able to travel to job locations by automobile and/or commercial airline.
