Valgroup is Hiring an Inventory Control Assistant Near Findlay, OH
- Receive small parcel deliveries within the FedEx/UPS area keeping the area clean and organized.
- Inspect materials and parts for defects.
- Validate the quantity and the items received match the packing slip. Deliver packing slips to purchasing for processing.
- Utilize the ERP system to find spare part locations.
- Place replenishment spare parts to the appropriate storage location.
- Deliver received packages to the appropriate person or department.
- Assist maintenance and production technicians with locating materials and parts.
- Ensure parts and materials are accurately logged out or accounted for.
- Assist Inventory Specialist with spare part cycle counts.
- Assist Inventory Specialist with spare part label identification.
- Assist Inventory Specialist with removing and purging obsolete materials and parts.
- Keep spare parts warehouse, motor and maintenance rooms clean and well organized.
- Assist with FedEx and UPS parcel shipping.
- Additional duties as assigned
- HS Diploma
- Ability/Experience using computers and software including Microsoft applications
- Ability to calculate math figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages
- Must occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Fork truck license is preferred
