Valeo Resources has partnered with an East Coast based substance abuse / mental health organization that is constantly expanding.

We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Medical Assistant to join the team in Charlotte, NC! In this role, you will be working with UDS, blood collection and confirmation along with adults that are in recovery from SUD / mental health disorders.

Position : Medical Assistant

Location : Charlotte, NC

Schedule : M-F, day shifts 830am-5pm

Responsibilities :

Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures

Administer medications under the direction of a physician

Maintain accurate patient records and assist with documentation

Provide exceptional patient service and ensure patient comfort

Handle medical equipment and instruments with precision

Uphold strict confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications :

Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited institution

Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy

Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) procedures

Experience in medication administration and dosage calculation

Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor

Must have experience with UDS, blood collection and confirmation
