Salary Range: $51,000.00 - $51,000.00 Salary/year

Job summary:

The F&B Manager will oversee the front of the house at the Water Trough Restaurant, banquet and mini bar. Valencia Hotel Group is a growing hotel company and currently has 7 hotels across Texas and California.

Shift requirements:

Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays

Responsibilities

  • Contribute positively to the team within the department
  • Prepare for any and all guest requests
  • Participate in on-going training
  • Comply with Valencia Hotel Group (and affiliates) standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel/restaurant operations
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Valencia Hotel Group (and its affiliates) standards as required by scheduling which will vary dependent upon the restaurant needs
  • Complete other duties as assigned by Executive Chef and/or General Manager
  • Meet health department standards in serving food for the Continental Breakfast, Room Service, Mini-bar, Pool Service and Liquor Purchase.
  • Staffing, Schedule F&B Operation associates.
  • Supervise opening and closing duties for servers.
  • Supervise daily cleaning schedule for all equipment in the restaurant.
  • Update menu items as needed based on sales with Chef.
  • Maintain restaurant conditions in exceptional presentation. Create work order and follow-up completion.
  • Monthly meetings and minutes emailed to Executive Chef
  • Consistent presence in outlets to include table visits.
  • Develop Water Trough staff to achieve confidence taking food orders.
  • Maintain menu displays up to hotel standard. Clean, updated and according with meal periods.
  • Daily pre-shift meeting with employees.

Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • Food & Beverage and/or Customer Service experience preferred
  • Communicates effectively with others
  • Works productively with a team
  • Effective multitasking skills
  • Composure and patience under pressure
  • Skilled in working with multiple computer programs
  • Restaurant management experience
