• 
  Responsible for the success and profitability of vehicle sales, sales team management, and more.
• Hire, train and manage a high-performance sales team
• Drive sales and produce results
• Desk deals
• Manage used car inventory levels and days in stock
• Appraise and buy cars
• Purchase used cars
• Manage certified pre-owned program
• Work with the Parts & Service Director to shepherd used cars through reconditioning
• Coordinate sales of all wholesale vehicles
• Order new vehicles
• Monitor contracts in transit lists

Qualifications - General Sales Manager:

• GSM / SM experience is required, General Motors experience is preferred
• A goal-oriented self-starter with strong leadership, management, and sales skills
• Proven track record as a floor manager and a strong closer
• Able to drive sales and produce results
• Self-motivated with a passion to achieve high standards
• Team builder
• Outgoing with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Computer proficient and good social media skills
• Finance experience is helpful
• Proficient in computing and quoting sales price
• Understands dealership operations including all aspects of sales and finance
• Professional appearance
• Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service - before, during and after a sale
• Valid driver's license and insurance
