Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and polished server to join our team at Vacanza Romana. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional service in a sophisticated dining environment. As a server, you will be responsible for providing attentive and personalized service to our guests, guiding them through our menu offerings, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system promptly.
2. Serve food and beverages with precision and elegance, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to our standards of excellence.
3. Anticipate guests' needs and proactively provide assistance, refills, or additional items as required.
4. Maintain a thorough knowledge of our wine and cocktail offerings, providing recommendations and pairing suggestions to enhance guests' dining experiences.
5. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages and to address any guest concerns or special requests.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and resetting tables, polishing glassware and silverware, and ensuring overall aesthetics.
7. Handle guest payments accurately and efficiently, processing credit card transactions and handling cash according to company procedures.
8. Uphold high standards of professionalism and hospitality at all times, demonstrating a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.

Qualifications:

1. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for hospitality, with the ability to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests.
2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a composed and gracious demeanor.
3. Proficiency in POS systems and basic math skills for processing orders and handling payments accurately.
4. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to accommodate the needs of our guests and the demands of the restaurant industry.
5. Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., RBS) will be required.
