Waste Management Contract Support

Primary Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Waste Management Contract Support for our premier client in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Education and Experience

• BA/BS degree or equivalent of 4 years of related experience in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in logistics, business administration, Finance or Accounting.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Basic = less than 1 year of experience/training needed; Intermediate = 1 3 years of experience/some training may be needed; Advanced = 3-5 years experience/no training needed; Expert = 5 years experience/able to train others.

• Intermediate = knowledge of environmental management in areas such as air, wastewater, solid & hazardous waste, toxic chemical management and regulations.
• Intermediate = Ability to work effectively in teams.
• Advanced = logistics skills (i.e. develops mid to long term strategies, for the entire supply chain; supply method evaluation and analysis; develops emergency concepts; develops methods and standards).
• Advanced = computer skills including MS Office applications.
• Advanced = German language skills both oral and written (preferred).

WHAT YOULL DO:
Job Responsibilities:

• Creates purchase requisitions for approved goods/services to support waste logistics management.
• Supports with providing client departmental budget forecasts, accruals, budget compliance, and target tracking.
• Supports development and creation of regular status reports and indicators to measure assigned work activity including service provider performance management.
• Supports Waste and Environmental projects and activities including audits ensuring all issues are closed/addressed in a timely manner.
• Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles.
• Performs other duties as assigned by operations supervisor.
