V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Surveillance & Access Control Technician III for our premier client in Madison, Wisconsin.
Education and Experience Top skills and years of experience:
- Cisco Networking Knowledge (Routers & Switches).
- Web Filtering Knowledge (Palo Alto & Zscaler).
- Video Surveillance Knowledge (Network/Server/Workstation).
- Door Controls Knowledge.
- Building Automation Knowledge.
- Surveillance, network, and server support capabilities with 10 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Install, configure, maintain, and monitor multiple state-wide networks, we filtering with Palo Altos and Zscaler, as well as mitigating issues as they arise.
- IT Professional that works on a team responsible for facilities-based systems, including but not limited to, surveillance, door control, building automation, and telecommunication.
- This work includes all aspects of design, planning, installation, and support of the aforementioned systems, including supporting desktop PCs, servers, network devices, storage solutions, and surveillance-specific equipment.
- Responsible for extensive system documentation creation and updates.
- Provides documentation/project tracking and management reporting.
- Provides tactical and strategic input on overall systems planning and related projects.
- Independently, performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
