Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst for our premier client in Indianapolis.
Education and Experience

• Quality Assurance Analyst experience: 5 Years.
• Thorough knowledge of QA testing/methodologies and reporting procedures and practices.
• Extensive knowledge of SDLC.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to identify and resolve problems or assist in the development of creative solutions, when necessary.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems or assist in the development of creative solutions, when necessary.
• Knowledge of application development, operations/technical support, and applicable security programs/practices.

WHAT YOULL DO:
Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct procedures to ensure that all IT systems, products, and services meet minimum standards and requirements.
• Document testing data, findings, and reports.
• Work closely with the applications development team during software development, including areas of applications development, operations/technical support, and security.
• Administer change control processes to ensure zero defect software development.
• Devise improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations.
• Recommend new/improved QA practices and procedures.
• May assist with the preparation of QA documents, manuals, training curriculum, and training sessions.
• Perform workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
• Provide requested weekly/bi-weekly/monthly reports and regular updates to the assigned manager/supervisor.
