V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Network Engineer I for our premier client in Centennial, Colorado.

Education And Experience »

• Need to have a couple of years’ experience in a technical role.
• Must have a baseline of NW Skills (LANS, IP Addresses etc.)
• Must have real world examples of things they’ve done in a NW Engineering scope - we are going to pay attn to detail.
• Need to have a good curiosity around NW engineering and be able to learn, Meraki, Aruba, Fortinet. They do not have to have all of these - just need to be able to learn.
• Baseline network engineering skills: how modems work, IP addresses, how a LAN works, understanding of certain equipment, voice background would be great.

What You’ll Do

Job Responsibilities:

• This role is the engineer who will config, troubleshoot, test and turn up and check out. Work with techs onsite as we move through the deployment.
• This is an entry level NW Engineer role.
• Will work with a technician who is ready for us, and this person will proceed with configs and test and turn up - moving their legacy equipment over to our network and hand it over to a service assurance group moving forward.
