V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a D203 : Cust Svc Rep Cashier for our premier client in Washington, District Of Columbia.

Education And Experience

Min High School Diploma passed.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Cashier experience processing cash transactions, issuing receipts and refunds, resolving customer complaints etc - Min 2 Years required
• Ability to perform basic business applications Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to a variety of audiences;

What You’ll Do

Job Responsibilities :

• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
• Collect payments whether in cash or credit.
• Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets.
• Redeem stamps and coupons.
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
• Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.
• Handle merchandise returns and exchanges.
• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
• Cross-sell products and introduce new ones.
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information.
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the area.
