Cross Connection Specialist

Primary Location: Louisville, Kentucky V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Cross Connection Specialist for our premier client in Louisville, Kentucky.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent; and Five (5) years of utilities, water quality, operations, and/or plumbing/piping experience; and Valid drivers license.

OR

• Bachelors degree and one (1) years of utilities, water quality, operations, and/or plumbing/piping experience; and Backflow prevention device testing certification or can obtain certification within 6 months of hire date; and Valid drivers license.

WHAT YOULL DO:
Job Responsibilities:

• Executing and/or coordinating various cross-connection control operations and activities.
• Support development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Cross-connection Control Program.
• Remove barriers that may inhibit the successful resolution of field problems for our customers, field personnel, supervisors, and managers.

Additional duties include:

• Data collection and analysis, documentation control, basic statistical analysis, and measures reporting.
• This position may also be responsible for performing for ensuring water systems follow federal, state, and Louisville Water Company rules and regulations.
• Cross-connection program ensures that a barrier is installed between the public water supply and potential pollutants within a customers plumbing.
• This role will be more administrative versus out in the field with a heavy focus on data entry, analysis, documentation.
