V & S Galvanizing is Hiring a Forklift Operator Near Owego, NY
V&S Galvanizing, LLC has over 100 years of experience in Hot Dip Galvanizing and we are the leader in the steel coating industry. Today we operate over 9 galvanizing plants in the U.S. , featuring exceptional service to small fabricators as well as companies known worldwide.
We are currently searching for an experienced Forklift Operatorat our Owego, NY facility.
Duties:
- Loading/unloading incoming and outgoing material.
- Preparation and staging of material for shipping.
- Crane and forklift operations.
- Quality assurance.
- Perform various physical duties as assigned.
Experience and Skills:
- Must have experience building long, heavy loads (example: steel beams)
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent hand-eye-coordination skills.
- Experience with metal and steel is preferred
